Docents and board members Joan and Jim Allday will be presenting a slide show program from 10-11, and then writers and artists will pick a tree on the North Grove trail to write about and/or create art based on their tree of choice. The polished products will be put into an anthology and then sold to benefit future writing programs involving the park. We will try to be sure the main trees are covered and written about in prose and poetry, with sketches and photos included. Nitya Prema, a certified park naturalist, will conduct a forest bathing walk on the trail..A sharing of our day’s creative work will be from 3-5 pm in the education room where we began our journey..
Bring water, lunch, snacks, a journal, and a folding chair for the trail, if needed. See you then! Contact
