Get ready to stir up some sweet summer fun!

Join us for a hands-on Salsa Making Summer Camp, where kids ages 8 to 18 will learn the art (and science!) of making their very own salsa. They will learn the process of water bath canning. Each participant will go home with a jar of their delicious creation—perfect for sharing with family or keeping all to themselves!

This camp will be held at the City of Anderson Commercial Kitchen and guided by friendly instructors in a fun, safe, and educational environment.

Membership requirement: Current 4-H membership in is required for participation in this event.

(Note: 4HOnline membership is required in ALL cases where custodial care is taken. Membership is generally recommended for most programs, but there are reasonable exceptions to its requirement. The statements in registration about membership requirements and custodial care requirements should not contradict our policies (see first sentence.).)

Youth must be approved, enrolled members in 4HOnline with South Carolina 4-H Youth Development to attend this event. This is a custodial care event. Only adult chaperones and invited facilitators approved to be at the event will be allowed onsite during this event. Youth must be signed in and signed out by a parent/guardian or designated representative.
