JA "Beat the Bear" 5K & 1K Family Fun Run/Walk

Join us on Saturday, August 2, 2025 for the JA “Beat the Bear” Fun Run/Walk -a Race for Financial Fitness, and help raise funds to support financial literacy in Alaska’s classrooms. All proceeds will benefit Junior Achievement of Alaska’s statewide financial literacy programs, benefitting 19,000 students annually.

If you "Beat the Bear" you will win a commemorative prize!

5K Timed Race - all ages - $25 registration fee
1K Timed Race - 9 and under - $5 registration fee

This family-friendly event is scheduled to be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Ship Creek Running Trail.

5K - Mens & Womens Divisions
1K - Ages 5 and under, Ages 6 - 7, and Ages 8 - 9
