Anchorage weekly road ride

We're back at it this week!

Introducing The Anchorage weekly road rides — a no-drop, all-fun, social ride rolling through Anchorage every weekend 🚲. The goal for this ride is to introduce a re-occurring weekly road bike ride in Anchorage. Something that roadies can rely on every weekend to take place.

No drop means no one gets left behind. Unless you show up on a fat bike. (Just kidding, but try to keep up) We will be riding peloton-style, 2-riders side-by-side throughout. Riders will take turns in the front of the peloton (2 to 5 minutes) leading out.

🗓 Repeats every weekend (day may vary depending on conditions and internal discussion, but Saturday at 11AM is the day/time, typically..)
📍 Anchorage, AK
☀️ Rain or shine – we’re riding. This is Alaska.
🚴‍♂️ Road bikes or gravel bikes recommended for pacing purposes.

Meet at 630 PM at Bartlett Student Parking lot: 1101 Golden Bear Dr, Anchorage, AK 99504 ( https://maps.app.goo.gl/Xm2YhVCWeZGhKYoX8)

Main route: Bartlett parking lott --> Glenn hwy bike path --> VFW drive --> Old Glenn hwy (Eagle River) --> Jitters -- return.
