Webinar: Using Insects to Control Garden Pests

Have you ever wondered which bugs in your garden are beneficial?

Joey Slowik, integrated pest management technician at the UAF Agriculture Experiment Farm and Extension Center in Palmer, will cover the beneficial insects that are natural enemies of pest bugs. He will discuss potential insect friends, what they want, and some ways to encourage them in your garden. Slowik will also discuss commercial biocontrol options, what's available and potentially useful in Alaska.
