This class is created for kids.


Set Sail with Creativity!

Young artists will join Miss Joy as they dive into a fun mixed-media project as they create a beautiful sailboat scene on the ocean. We'll start by painting a bright summer sky, then make our own custom shades of blue collage paper for the waves. Using scissors and glue, artists will assemble their sailboat and bring the whole scene to life. Please dress your artist in clothes that can get a little messy—artful adventures await!


Please have artists wear clothes that are appropriate for creating! All supplies are included.


About the Instructor:

Hi! My name is Joy Pesaturo. My Students call me Miss Joy. I teach Elementary Art at Fidalgo Elementary here in Anacortes and Clear Lake Elementary in Sedro Woolley. I LOVE sharing art with kids! I feel that giving kids a creative space is very important for their mind growth. I use all different mediums including paint, collage, drawing and 3D.
