In the beginnings we used to look at 10 years as an amazing and far away milestone. Well, in the meantime we've hit even 20! 20 years of Tasty Music & Sound Food.
We're gonna kick it off on Saturday 21 June at the great Jamaica Lounge, the most authentic Jamaican bar in town, stocking the same stuff you could find in the best establishments of the Island.
From 20:00 to 3:00, free entry.
For those who wants it, there will be the possibility to dine in there as well. Otherwise, plenty of options on the same street.
On Sunday 22 June the now legendary Reggae Recipe Birthday Bash-becue at Café Checkpoint Charlie.
Jerk bbq on the (covered) terrace of Checkpoint Charlie, dj sets (with MC Champian at the mic), and a great selection of booze from the bar.
Bbq is upon reservation. In order to avoid food waste we will only make food based on the number of bookings.
So no extra meals will be sold on the Sunday.
The 3-course treat (starter, jerk meal with rice & peas, coleslaw and fried plantain, and a dessert) is priced at €25,
