The First of Many: The Boog and Beyond

Our First Railtour!

We are excited to announce our debut railtour 'The First of Many: The Boog and Beyond' will be on Saturday 1st November 2025 which will operate in the Netherlands with Railexperts as the train operator.

Our proposed routing is as follows:

Amsterdam Centraal (PU) – Amsterdam Westhaven – Amsterdam Houtrakpolder – Amsterdam Centraal – Breukelen – Woerden – Gouda – Binkhorstboog – Schiedam – Rotterdam Centraal – Lage Zwaluwe – Moerdijk – Lage Zwaluwe – Oosterhout Weststad – Lage Zwaluwe – Breda – Tilburg – 's Hertogenbosch – Geldermalsen – Utrecht Centraal – Woerden – Alphen aan den Rijn – Leiden Centraal – Haarlem – Amsterdam Centraal (SD)

Traction will be provided by Railexperts, with the main tour locomotive expected to be a former NS Class 1600 or 1800. Additional locomotives will join throughout the day - A V60 diesel shunter supporting the visit to Amsterdam Westhaven, and a former Belgian Class 62 hauling the train to Moerdijk and Oosterhout Weststad.
