Step into the Baklawa Box,a deliciously queer world where storytelling, belly dancing, and clowning collide! Join the incredible Proud Baklawa and Clown Elleke van Gemeren for an evening of heart, humour, and shimmering spectacle.
This is a performance that celebrates identity, unravels stories, and shakes its hips to the rhythm of authenticity. It's a messy, beautiful, and empowering exploration of self, served with a generous side of sweetness and spice.

🌈 who we are :
- proud baklawa is a collaboration of stavros kyrillos (an egyptian who lives in the netherlands ) and Samar Zughool ( Jordanian who lives in Slovenia ) , and together they decided to create a community queer artist cooperation , to speak about queers in diaspora.
- ellieke van gemeren : she is an artist and clown who cares for empwering socities and mental health through playing and clowning .
