A liminal space where Black queer and trans joy thrives boldly and without apology. It is a portal where we celebrate the brilliance and beauty of the community. Here, resistance is nurtured as it lives in our laughter and togetherness. Alongside the DJ and performance lineup, Rafik Opti's video exhibition, 'When We Become Black Joy', will be on display. Curator Leia Amerding will introduce the exhibition and set the intention for the event. Welcome to Black Queer Joy x ADE. We are just getting started.

Een liminale ruimte waar Black queer en trans joy moedig en zonder excuses tot bloei komt. Een portaal waarin we de briljantie en schoonheid van de community vieren. Hier wordt verzet gevoed, aanwezig in ons gelach en onze verbondenheid. Naast de DJ- en performance line-up is ook de video-expositie 'When We Become Black Joy' van Rafik Opti te zien. Curator Leia Amerding opent de avond met een introductie en zet de intentie voor het programma. Welcome to Black Queer Joy x ADE. We zijn pas net begonnen.
