The sun is out and the summer is finally here - it's time to get outdoors in nature and co-create with all the aliveness of (our own) nature! This is one of our signature events that we have been creating the last few years, and finally we feel the strong call to bring this co-creation outdoors in nature this time!
You are invited for a Micro-dose (Magic Truffle) Tea Ceremony and Handpan Sound Journey in nature on Sunday, June 08 from 12:30-15:00 CET, with your hosts LeilArts and musician Leela. The event (in English) will happen in a quiet area of Flevopark, Amsterdam where you will be immersed in a beautiful oasis of nature, while the city center is just around the corner. We wish to co-create a safe, connected and mindful space where we can collectively step into the uprising Summer season with embodied insights and integration throughout the ceremony.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Tea Ceremony + Microdose + Sound Journey = a synergetic combination that deepens the experience in a powerful way. We will start from a mindful Tea Ceremony to take the medicine (1 gram of truffle, more or less is possible) as an ancient ritual to gradually open up the collective space and connect within yourselves, followed by a gentle and relaxing lay-down sound journey with handpan and various live instruments to dive in deeper into the body and effect of this powerful healing medicine that has been guiding us and our ancestors for thousands of years.
꩜ For this mindful and ancient Tea Ceremony (‘Cha Tao’, to experience Tao/The Way of Nature within yourselves, through this portal of plant/medicine/tea, that has 2000+ years history), your host Leila will present specially selected high-quality tea to balance the taste and the feminine energy to the fresh truffle, and to guide you through a zen meditation that cultivates mindful processes and a fluid flow in a harmonious atmosphere that connects us and opens up our taste, senses, health and heart.
꩜ Handpan and other instrumental tunes by musician/DJ Leela will create a peaceful yet grounding atmosphere throughout and after the ceremony, taking you on a deeper, meditative, lay-down sound journey. Imagine all your senses will open up in feeling all what's around, in harmony with the sounds of nature. For especially those who seek to slow down your busy life and to be more present in the moments, this ceremony will be a mindful way to set a relaxing and yet reflective tune.
The intention of the event is not to guide you in a deep psychedelic trip but rather to micro-dose and enter the door way together. We will guide you through a mindful micro-dosing process in a safe and connected container to get a taste of how plant medicine feels like and to deep dive into the journey, together. More advice and tips will be shared for more mid/long-term micro-dosing journeys (e.g. a 6-week journey), or a full high-dose truffle journey. Aftercare and integration to daily life will be shared as well in a supportive community group environment.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION:
☼ Ticket: €38 (Early Bird until May 20) and €48 (Regular Ticket). It includes Tea, Medicine Truffle, Ceremony, Handpan Sound Journey and Integration support
☼ Entrance time: 12:15
☼ Starting time: 12:30 (please arrive earlier)
☼ Closing time: 15:00 (feel free to stay around a bit after)
☼ Good to bring:
✓ Comfy, warm and layered clothes
✓ Outdoor, picnic blanket to sit and lay on
✓ Water bottle and enough drinking water (important)
✓ Optionally some fruits/nuts to eat and share afterwards. We advise a light breakfast at least 1 hour before so the micro-dose can unfold more unaffected and pure in your body.
☼ The exact location is to be updated in the Welcome Email to be send a few days before the event. It's likely in Flevopark on a quiet grass area with enough shades and green around.
☼ If it rains, we might have to cancel and postpone the event, then you can receive a full refund, or to join our next date, if cancelled due to the weather conditions.
☼ With the same team at the same location, we will continue the journey in the late/afternoon with a donation-based Ecstatic Dance & Co-created arts event and a community potluck from 16:00-19:00, feel free to join us if you like to open up and move your body even more to the fullest:
