Hola chispas! Once more a not-so-lazy Sunday afternoon práctica in the Clifford Studio and then until early November we will be back in Studio 100.
Come and prepare for the milonga by going back-to-basics and then also polish your fancy moves on the intricacies of the rhythms and melodies of tango, vals, and milonga. We got the music, we got the floor!
Clifford Studio is only 2 minutes biking from Studio 100 and has free parking (on Isaac Gogelweg) at just 4 minutes walking.

La Chispa Tango Práctica:
📍A práctica, not a milonga. No cortinas.
📍Less advanced dancers practicing with more advanced dancers - like in Buenos Aires in the Golden Age of tango.
📍Be careful giving feedback, be considerate.
📍Practice with more than one person as La Chispa is community-focused, though of course this does not mean you need to practice with everyone! Change around a bit, with whomever you feel comfortable practicing.
📍Use mirada/cabeceo or be more direct but respect boundaries.

✨What is La Chispa?
La Chispa is a social tango práctica inspired by the Golden Age tradition - where the more accomplished are helping the less accomplished dancers - just as it was back then in the prácticas of Buenos Aires. Today, a práctica can be the bridge between a formal lesson or workshop and a milonga yet it can also be the lesson. No rigid structures, just a space for exploration, learning, and socializing. Independent, no lessons (though we do small themes), no teachers (apart from occasional visiting teachers) but! other people to help you improve.
Come alone or together, practice what you've been taught lately (or let us give you a challenge), explore, learn, meet, make it happen together.
