Embrace your Shadows

Through the Shadow maps of the 5Rhythms we have the potential to learn and love a lot about ourselves through moving, experiencing, ultimately breaking through parts of ourselves that may otherwise feel uncomfortable. The Shadow maps of the 5Rhythms gives us permission to explore sides of ourselves that we turn a blind eye to and don’t speak much about.
In Flowing, we experience heaviness vs weight and fluidity, Staccato, stressed out and ambiguous vs. being clear and confident, Chaos, confused vs. creativity, Lyrical, distracted vs. presence, Stillness, numb vs. moving with the breath! By consciously moving through these polarities, we may be able to find comfort, healing and love for all sides of ourselves!
