55 Piet Heinkade, Amsterdam, Netherlands
Join Ron Brown, Principal Toxicologist, Risk Science Consortium for a one-day course which will provide instruction on the use of computational approaches to predict the toxicity of data-poor extractable & leachable (E&L) compounds and the rate at which they migrate from pharmaceutical packaging, drug delivery devices, and medical devices. This course will also discuss how to use these model-derived estimates of toxicity and dose in a safety assessment of E&L compounds.
Lunch and coffee breaks included in ticket price.
When to use computational approaches.
Using open-source exposure models to predict patient exposure to leachables.
Using open-source QSAR models and expert systems to predict toxicological hazards.
Using Read Across and grouping methods to derive Tolerable Intake/Permitted Daily Exposure values.
Using model-derived predictions of exposure and toxicity in a safety assessment.
Hands-on use of models, presentation of case studies, and Q&A.
Also check out other Workshops in Amsterdam.
Tickets for Computational Toxicology can be booked here.
