Amsterdam / Zambomba Choir Classes

The villancico was a common poetic and musical form of the Iberian Peninsula and Latin America popular from the late 15th to the 18th centuries. With the decline in popularity of the villancicos in the 20th century, the term became reduced to mean merely "Christmas carol".

In this class, we will work on various arrangements in such pieces which we will present to Zambomba Performance in the theater Podium Mozaiek on Saturday, 13/12/2025, and possibly in other locations during December.

• The applications will be open till September 15th. Places are limited.
• Instructor: Yota Baron
• Part of the income will be donated to the Zambomba purpose to collect an amount for Christodoulion Orphanage in Athens.

• Classes will be held in the area of Treehouse Tribe on the following dates:

Class Dates SEP: 20, 27 | OCT: 18, 25 | NOV: 1, 23, 29 | DEC: 6, 12 (after 18.30)

∙Rondeñas + Zambomba: €520 (excl. VAT)

∙Payments can be made monthly or in full (package price).

∙Payments must be completed before the first class of each month. Otherwise, an automatic payment request will be sent.

• Can I attend even if I have no clue about singing? YES, YOU CAN!! EVERYONE CAN SING!
• Do I have to know flamenco? NO, IT IS NOT REQUIRED.
