Beltane is On its Way! Blessed Be The Horned God!
Horns are fully grown! The sun is fully shining! The heat has returned! Passion and creativity abound, and love and lust run rampant in the forest and in the streets!
It is time once again for my favorite day of the year! Please join us for a Beltane gathering where we can celebrate the return of the warm season together. We will have games similar to the old ones, but a bit more tame. Participation is optional, but we will have maidens, including myself, hiding in the forest. If you catch one, you are rewarded with a kiss (where and how should be up to the maiden and hunter to agree upon; be respectful about this. A cheek, mouth, tongue or no. And if you agree to more in the forest, we won't stop you; just be aware I have no shame and will locate you briefly to make sure everything seems consensual.) We will have some lavish decor in the yard and possibly the forest. Blessings, magic tea and flower crowns. As always, lots of food and drinks, and you are welcome and encouraged to bring more to share.
We want to see lots of faces this year, so we are asking everyone to invite others to join in. All we ask is that you inform them of the significance and what they might see and make sure they are neither prudes nor people who don’t understand and respect the things we celebrate and hold sacred on this day. In other words, they must be nonjudgmental and super cool about wild heathen acts of carnal desire and not be there just because they want to see that sort of thing. Also, make sure that they read and understand all the information posted here in the events page.
Emily and Mathew will, once again, serve as May King and Queen, and trust me, they are perfectly giggly, in love, and ideal representations of physical beauty and fertility. I will, in the spirit of the season… be less… modest than I have been in past years.
For those new to Beltane: What happens at Beltane stays at Beltane. Beltane is a celebration so old that it was already an ancient tradition before recorded history began. Before writing, and possibly before fully developed language. It is the oldest known celebrated tradition. When the wild things came out to fornicate on the forest floor, the fields and the hillsides, well, so did we. An invitation to leap over the fire is a request for coupling. Leaping the fire together is an agreement to do so and a blessing on the union. Consent can be rescinded. Please understand that this, very much is a celebration of sex and everything that surrounds it, including lust, love, romance, and passion. No one is required to do anything at all, but everyone will be allowed to celebrate however they like, alone, together, in private, in the forest or out in the open by the fire.
Let me be clear here… this could mean:
- Sharing food, drink, and conversation.
- Dancing, provocative, wildly, or normally
-Masturbating in the open to fertilize the land or celebrate arousal
-Coupling out in the open
Apparel can range from fully dressed to completely nude, and anything in between.
Here are the rules…. Anyone who doesn't follow them will be thrown into the fire by me personally.
It is ok to watch anything happening out in the open.
It is not ok to watch through a tent window or spy on people clearly trying to stay out of plain sight.
Leaping the fire together is consent, but anyone can take consent back at any time. If I hear anyone yell “Safeword” more than once, I will interrupt to make sure everyone is ok.
If it's illegal and in your car, we won't ask questions, but if it's illegal, it had better be something that grows from the earth and has not been processed into a powder, or I will throw it and you into the fire.
We won’t check anyone's med cards if we smell something funny out by the barn. Keep it away from the house.
Do not spike anything or push anything on anyone else. Sharing is fine, just be nice about it.
ABSOLUTELY NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18!
No one genetically related to me or raised by me!
OBEY all of the rules posted by the hostess!
No driving home drunk or becoming a problem, or you will be slow-roasted over the Belfires by me and Emily.
We will post more information on this event page, so check in frequently. I hope to see you all there, along with many new faces. If you need help making it (transportation, gas, bus ticket), please DM me!
Remember to bring a tent and/or air mattress, along with blankets and pillows or anything else you may need for the night, as there is room to sleep people in the classroom, but there is plenty of land if you prefer.
