Dear hikers,
D’almaz Grotto is found in Tourza, North of Lebanon. A Grotto for resting home of some Phoenician kings. A crusader fortress, later turned into a monastery. In order to reach this site, one needs to be fit and ready to track on the goats’ trail, the site is neglected and used as shelter for the shepherds (this part of the trail will be optional.
We will start our hike from the cedars of Hadath el Jebbe, then head down slowly passing by pine forest overviewing Taanourine cedars reserve all the way down to the sea. We will visit Mar Sarkis and Bakhos, then we will reach the village of Beit Monzer.
From there, we will continue to Tourza to visit the famous grotto of D'Almaz. Climbing toward that grotto will be optional for the people who want to visit this amazing cliff. Tourza village will be our last destination.

1- @ 7:45 am: jal dib near DHL and Banque Libano Francaise facing the Canadian embassy (we can pick our hikers that live on our way)
2- @ 7:30 am: near Al Amine Mosque downtown Beirut.
