9:00 Drivers meeting/tech inspection

This is a team style 1/10 scale event for scale rc trucks. The premise of the event is to go driving with a partner through courses designed to simulate real world trails/off road parks.
EVENT RULES
-An approved judge with a timer and score sheet must be present to have your time recorded.
-2 man, 2 truck teams. (Odd number of participants may require someone to run with 2 different teammates, better time of both runs is then used)
-Both trucks are required to finish the course together unless one DNF's
(dont leave your buddy in the woods)
-You may finish the course alone, if possible, if your teammate DNF's(teammate cannot help at all)
-You may not touch your truck unless changing battery, making a repair, or picking up to DNF
-Repairs are to be done in place where the truck broke down or ran out of fuel (dead battery)
-Repairs on course are limited to wheel nut tightening/replacing and winch line repairs (tying broken line or reattaching anchor)
-When recovering, you must set the anchor and let it go BEFORE pulling with the winch. You are not allowed to hold the anchor in place under any circumstance. Set it and let it go.
-You run the course as a team, but your scores are recorded individually.
-At the end of the event, your personal times are added together and the bonus you receive from scale points is deducted from your total personal time.
-The person at the end with the lowest total time is the winner for the event.
COURSES
-Courses are timed from a starting line/gate to a finish line/gate
-Once the official time clock is started it should for no reason be stopped until the driver has completed the course or has withdrawn due to a DNF
-You are expected to stay within boundaries, if one is crossed, you will need to enter the course again at or before the point where you crossed the boundary. (no penalty, keep it scale)
-Recovery equipment must be in/on vehicle when crossing start and finish lines

VEHICLE RULES:
-Vehicles are limited to two axles only
-No angled skids of any kind.
-No MOA (motor on axle) vehicles.
-No portal axles
-All vehicles must have driveshafts between transmission/transfer case and axles.
-No batteries or electronics on axles, chassis mount servos only
(Try to hide electronics as best as possible)
-No brass showing on axles, this is a scale event
(Brass diff cover needs painted non-brass color, for example)(brake rotors OK, regardless of color)
-Full bodied vehicle (no dovetail, pinch, boat sides)**
-Bed MUST be full cab width and resemble a 1:1 vehicle (flat bed ok, keep it scale)
-No tubular rear chassis
-Full frame only – Frame needs to be longer than the wheelbase, must appear scale
(Carbon fiber and metal flat rails ok, try and keep them hidden)
-Shock towers need to be hidden unless scale tubular style towers are used
-Full width bumpers required
-Windshield required
-At least 50% fender coverage required
-Must have a working winch, sand ramps recommended but not required
-SCALE recovery strap highly recommended, if you do not have one, it can be borrowed from the judge for the course. A land anchor can also be borrowed for a course if needed.
-No bungee cord recovery straps allowed to be used for recovery
-Tow straps are to be used in a scale fashion.
(you're not dragging your buddy down the trail on anything but his wheels)
TIRES
Max wheel size – 1.9
Max tire size – 4.19
Realistic style tread pattern (no pins, no v-bar, no hyrax/trencher or similar)
SCALE POINTS/LIGHTS
-Each scale item point is (-2s) to your TOTAL time, not time per course
-Items need to be proper 1/10 scale or close to. (Tech deck skateboards are not 1/10 for example)
-See scale item list for a guide to items that worth points
-Multiples of an item will only get one point (1-100 bottles count for one point in total, not per bottle)
-Other bonuses available, see scale item list
**If a tonneau cover is used to cover the entire bed to hide the shock towers, there will not be any scale points granted for items in the bed hidden by the cover**
