So begins EVE'S BAYOU, which charts the unravelling of a family in ‘60s Louisiana after young Eve (Jurnee Smollett) learns of the infidelities of her charming father (Samuel L. Jackson), the town doctor.

Rooted in Creole history, folklore, and mysticism, this grand Southern Gothic drama is a spellbinding debut from writer/director Kasi Lemmons.

In addition to Smollett and Jackson, a stellar cast includes Lynn Whitfield, Debbi Morgan, Diahann Carroll, Vondie Curtis-Hall, and Roger Guenveur Smith. Prolific trumpeter and composer Terrence Blanchard provides a powerful score, blending blues, jazz, and classical.

EVE'S BAYOU is presented here in a 4K restoration of the Director's Cut.
