Pottery Wheel Throwing: Beginner & Beyond

This class is for anyone just beginning their journey with clay or with some experience on the wheel. In this 6-week Wheel Throwing course, you’ll learn the essentials of centering, shaping and the basics of wheel throwing as you create your first pottery pieces. Discover the joy of working with clay hands-on in a fun and relaxing environment.

Includes your first 25-pound bag of clay, all firing, a shelf space,
and access to an open studio all day Saturday and Sunday,
giving you time to practice, experiment, and connect with others in our community.
Six, 2.5-hour sessions: Mondays, 5:30 – 8:00 p.m.
June 23 – July 28, 2025. Jewell Town Pottery, 77 Elm Street,
Suite 301, Amesbury (in the Mill 77 Building).
Cost: $400.
