Taiko Drummer Peaceful Forest

The Zen Center of Pittsburgh, Deep Spring Temple is excited to welcome you to experience this extraordinary performance. The concert will be held in the Zendo (meditation hall).

Takumi Kato is a world-champion Taiko drummer from Japan, and he performs with his three children.

Their dream is to perform 1000 shows in all 50 states within the next 4 years, starting in October 2022, to spread peace and harmony. They have already performed 421 shows in 28 states towards this goal. They are able to perform through the connections between people. They bring a lot of energy and joy to events.

A resent reviewer stated, "I felt a deep sense of awe and excitement from the bottom of my heart, they are AMAZING."

They are looking for opportunities to perform Japanese drums at schools, companies, restaurants, festivals, home parties, libraries, senior homes, anywhere they can bring the drums. If you are interested, please feel free to contact them.
