Hand-building Pottery, woven tray

Description
This hand building class is perfect for students with no pottery experience and also for those who want to increase their skills.

In this fun hand building workshop, students will learn to take rolled slabs of clay, cut them into strips and weave them together over a form a tray or basket shape. Handles will complete this piece of pottery which will make a great tray for bread or fruit, or many other uses.

The woven tray will be fired and the student will return and glaze the piece with their choice of beautiful glazes; Bella's Wishes will fire your bowl the second time and it will be ready for pick up at a later date.

The class fee includes instruction, all materials to create and glaze the woven tray, and the two kiln firings.

This class is offered at 1:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on the same day.
