This week we are excited to welcome the return of trumpet Virtuoso Bryan Corbett.
Corbett stands as one of the UK's most exciting and versatile jazz trumpeters, with a career that showcases his remarkable breadth across both jazz and commercial music. While he regularly performs and records under his own name, Corbett has also lent his formidable talents to a "who's who" of world-renowned artists and bands. His impressive discography and performance credits include The Brand New Heavies, Tony Christie, Alesha Dixon, Brian McFadden, Mica Paris and Beverley Knight among many others. His trumpet work has also graced the soundtracks of major commercials for Fiat 500, Iceland, and Panasonic.
Corbett has toured and performed around the globe both as a guest artist and with his own bands, regularly appearing at festivals, prestigious concert halls, and intimate clubs throughout the UK. He is often featured as a soloist or as part of dynamic horn sections on countless recordings and has also appeared as a featured soloist with the BBC Concert Orchestra and the Big Band Małopolski in Krakow, Poland.
Joining Corbett to form a stellar quartet will be the highly talented pianist Paul Deats. Deats is a respected figure on the jazz scene, known for his versatile and sensitive accompanying skills, as well as his inventive solos. His harmonic sophistication and rhythmic drive will perfectly complement Corbett's trumpet, ensuring a rich and cohesive musical dialogue.
The line-up will be completed by our regular rhythm section: Peter Robinson on bass and Roger Keay on drums.
