Guide Dogs' children and young people's services are delighted to invite children ages 0-4 with a vision impairment and their immediate family members (including siblings) to our special Family Event, with a My Time To Play (MTTP) focus being held at Old Down Country Park Estate on Saturday 7th June between 10am - 3pm.
Old Down Estate is bursting with a variety of things to do and explore. Come for a day of fun at the family friendly Country Park and Guide Dogs exclusively hired space within the beautiful Manor House. Just a few miles from Bristol and within its 66 acres of stunning grounds, it boasts beautiful gardens, woodlands full of blooming flowers and grand trees, to adventure play areas featuring zip wire and jumping pillow, sand kitchen and more! Old Down Estate it also home to many different animals great and small.
My Time To Play (MTTP) helps young children aged 0-4 with a visual impairment to develop a broad range of skills through play in group settings. Led by our wonderful Bristol Habilitation Specialists, our day will also provide parents/guardians and carers the opportunity to network, share experiences and pick up skills and knowledge to support their child’s development with confidence.
The Family Events team have also organised an exciting and exclusive animal encounter experience and an opportunity to ‘meet and greet’ a well-known lovable TV character…known for its ‘Bluey’ colour.
Refreshments will be available and a buffet lunch.
