Join us for a special evening of equestrian and musical arts with the Diaz Family and Sin Fronteras, a project of Ensemble Ibérica!

The Diaz Family returns to Volland to showcase Charro traditions, extraordinary horsemanship, and their magnificent Andalusian horses. Charro Jerry Diaz, a 4th generation charro, continues the traditions that originated with his great grandfather 150 years ago. Jerry was the first to produce some of the world's largest Mexican Rodeo Shows, including the Mexican rodeo extravaganza, Best of Mexico. Staci Diaz, a 3rd generation rider, is known for Roman Riding, Dancing Horses, Liberty Horses, and Trick Riding. Nicolas Diaz, a 5th generation horseman and performer, is an eight-time national champion and has performed alongside his parnts at the most prestigious horse shows across the US and Canada. He breeds Andalusian horses and has some of the best blood lines in the US and Spain. The family will perform at the horse arena in Volland, emceed by Geff and Dawn Dawson, well-known horsemen and entertainers.

Sin Fronteras, featuring Latin Grammy award winner Mireya Ramos!


A project of Ensemble Ibérica, Sin Fronteras (Without Borders) is a groundbreaking collaboration of musicians who present a diverse tapestry of music styles and traditions originating from both sides of the US/Mexico border. The performance highlights the shared elements among the distinct musical genres of Tex-Mex, Ranchera, Jarocho, Gospel, Jazz, and Country.

Sin Fronteras, featuring Mireya Ramos and the Poor Choices. Beau Bledsoe, guitar, Jeff Freling, bass, Trevor Turla, trombone and vocals, John Currey, drums, Marco Pascolini, pedal steel guitar, and Slim Hanson, guitar and vocals.

Kansas City's Mariachi Estrella will welcome arriving guests at 5pm with the lively sounds of brass and strings, signaling the beginning of a fantastic evening. Food trucks, MHK Caravan Co., and Flint Hills Pints will be ready to serve you great food, cold sodas, beer, wine and special cocktails, along with homemade ice cream made in the Flint Hills!

This will be an incredible evening, fit for the whole family. Bring your kids and grankids because children under twelve are admitted free. If you live in Wabaunsee County, tickets are discounted $25, courtesy of the Volland Foundation.
