Jack, 37, was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in April. While they are still learning more every day, they do know that the cancer is aggressive. Each week brings new information & more questions but also brings new hope! Jack and Samantha moved to Alma in 2019 from Cambridge with their 5 children Jack (14), Dakota (13), Wyatt (11), Brook (9) and Tucker (7). Jack is a lineman for Twin Valleys Public Power District and his wife, Samantha, is employed at First State Bank in Alma. Currently, Jack is unable to work as he begins his battle with cancer. The family is hopeful that they can get him into a specialized clinic (Hope4Cancer.com) that offers advanced integrative and targeted cancer therapies. These treatments will come with significant out of pocket cost that insurance companies do not cover. Along with these new therapies there is also the cost of everything else that they will encounter along the way as they make the rounds to numerous doctors, countless treatments and miss time from work.
Every donation, from a $1 or $100, will make a difference for this family as they navigate this new journey together.
We will be hosting a free will benefit with food, raffle prizes, a silent auction and more! Please be sure to mark your calendars! If you are not able to be present, you can donate through the following:
