Mic Conway and Robbie Long with Bambadino

Back by demand after their hugely successful appearance at the 2024 Top Half Folk Festival, Mic Conway and Robbie Long return to Alice Springs/Mparntwe to celebrate the release of Whoopee Blues - a film about the musical careers of Mic and Jim Conway (Captain Matchbox Whoopee Band).

In a circus of comedy, music and magic, Mic and Robbie present a hilarious array of idiosyncratic songs that will make your jaw drop, toes tap and sides split. Mic Conway is a master story teller of tall tales and trues, while Robbie Long is the charismatic and utterly brilliant instrumentalist.

Quirky local singer/songwriter Bambadino will open the night with their unique take on life and the universe, all in perfectly melodic singalong songs!
