#PAWFEST - A Pet Re-Adoption Event, Patriot Festival, Happy 250th Army/Navy

Hey everyone, if you’re in the vicinity, come over to the George Washington Masonic National Memorial and join DC 1O1 and the Wounded Paw Project for our first annual pet re-adoption event. Did you know that every year, hundreds of pets that were gifted over the holidays later end up in shelters or are abandoned? That's why we have partnered with the Wounded Paw Project. An amazing organization dedicated to bringing awareness to animal cruelty and helping loving animals find forever homes. The event is free, look around, there's food from Mission BBQ, stop by the DC101 tent and meet Krysten from Elliot in the Morning Show, and who knows...maybe you fall in love and adopt a new furry family member? We'll be here until 4 pm. Go by the Wounded Paw RV and meet the founders, Ernesto and Megan. Learn more about the Wounded Paw Project at WPP.DOG. Yes, that’s WPP Dot D O G, dog. They're always looking for volunteers to help out and be the voice of the voiceless. Stop by and take home a pet that's looking for a family to love.
