About the event

Multicultural VESAK on Full Moon Night
Vesak is one of the most important festivals for Buddhists around the world. It celebrates the birth, enlightenment, and passing to Nirvana of the Buddha. Here in Albury, we have both local and migrant Buddhists who come from various cultures around the world. But we all celebrate Vesak.

Dhammakaya Centre in Albury would like to invite you all to cerebrate this day together.

5:30 pm - Greeting to new friends
6:00 pm - Paritta Chanting
6:30 pm - Meditation
6:50 pm - Dhamma Talks on Vesak
7:00 pm - Lantern and Candle Lighting
7:10 pm - Photo Taking with the Lanterns
7:30 pm - End of the Celebration
