Is it July already? Where have the months gone? Wasn't it just April?
We know it is the 4th of July weekend but if you are still in town, or just getting back in to town and you are looking for a great place to have some great food and listen to some music, then come and join us this Sunday, July 6th for some late afternoon/early evening jazz at Flatiron Albuquerque.
The Sunday Jazz Jam - featuring The EQNX Jazztet - is still going strong and this week the band is back together to bring you some exciting instrumental improvisational music for you to listen to.
Flatiron Albuquerque (6001 San Mateo Blvd NE) is a full service Restaurant and Bar that has a wide range of selections and excellent service too. Make sure you get there early, as Flatiron is a first come, first serve venue. No reservations, no cover, and always family friendly.
MUSICIANS: ARRIVE EARLY BECAUSE THE SIT-IN LIST FILLS UP VERY FAST!!! IF YOU SHOW UP AT 6:00 PM WHEN THE JAM STARTS, THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE YOU WON'T PLAY. Make sure you have one or two tunes in mind and the key you want to play or sing them in. Please remember - This is NOT an "Open Mic" but a "Jazz Jam".
