June ABQArtwalk takes place in 6/6/25 from 5-9pm! My studio/shop inside the Mothership Alumni will be open and I have a super special guest artist joining me for the evening, Orion Romero!
Orion Romero is 11 years old from Rio Rancho, NM.
His artistic inspiration is mainly derived from anime and various cartoon influences.
Orion has been drawing since he could hold a crayon. Over the last year or so he has been experimenting with different mediums - from graphite to a variety of alcohol-based products and acrylic paint markers that highlight the bold colors and depth in his artworks.
This kid has some skills!
I have known Orion since he was 3 I think, and met him through his mom Kimberly, who is an incredible wire jewelry artisan here in NM!
We have become close, and for my bday this year, Orion gifted me a piece he created of one of my favorite Demon Slayer characters, Uzui Tengen! I am just blown away at the level of skill this kid has, and I just HAD to offer him a spot to showcase his awesome art! Please join us on 1st Friday in June, and support this sweet young man who is already such a skilled and talented artist!
You can find us in Studio 9 inside the Mothership Alumni located at 105 4th St SW. There are metered parking spaces in the area (Free after 6pm) as well as a few inexpensive paid lots within walking distance.
