Summer Staycation: Fossils Rock!

Looking for adventure this summer vacation? Look no further than your own community - its Summer Staycation at KNS! Every week, families will dive deep into a new topic lead by a local expert from our region. From live animals to live theater, and making chocolate to making furniture - each program allows families to explore and engage with new skills and new ideas together!

This week at Summer Staycation, families will explore the world of rocks and fossils with our friends from the Albion College Department of Earth and Environnment! After an introduction into the world of paleontology by KNS staff, families will take a mini-field trip to Albion College, where we will tour, explore, and touch real-life fossils - led by a real-life paleontologist!

This program is intended for preK-4th grade students and their families. Museum admission is not required for this program. Pre-registration is recommended to ensure a spot but not required. This program will include a brief (less than 5 minute) drive to Albion College.
