About the event

National Creamsicle Day
Stop in and tour the history center for FREE and then enjoy a creamsicle in the village for FREE!

The Creamsicle was invented by Frank Epperson in 1905. He was 11 years old at the time and accidentally created what he called the "Epsicle" while experimenting with putting fruit juice around vanilla ice cream, according to Morton Williams Supermarket. The brand name "Creamsicle" was later developed by Joe Lowe Company, which acquired the rights to the Popsicle brand.
