Sober Sip + Stitch is a brand new workshop series that focuses on gathering in a creative environment and making art sans alcohol.
Founded by local artist, maker, tattoo artist, and art educator: Ashleigh Harris Johns, workshop participants of all experience levels are in for an enjoyable evening of creating their own functional work of art.
The inaugural workshop of the series will be taking place at Fort Orange General Store, an Albany staple and treasure that focuses on supporting small and local artists and makers.
Info: Arrive to FOGS, make a name tag, do a quick swoop around the store, and claim your seat! The workshop will begin at 6pm!
Info: Introductions and get your drinks!
Info: Set up your project, and get some basic overviews of stitches to get started!
Info: Use this time to work on your embroidery; receive instruction where necessary, and socialize with friends and family you came with or newfound acquaintances!
