Ready to take your plein air painting to the next level? In this inspiring final workshop of the summer series, artist and educator Carolyn DiFiori Hopkins, MFA, will guide you in refining your technique and discovering your unique voice as a painter. With a special focus on color, technique, and personal expression, you’ll work on developing a distinctive style that reflects your artistic point of view. Weather permitting, we’ll venture outdoors for a short field trip to sketch and paint from life—immersing ourselves in the beauty of the landscape. Whether you're returning from earlier sessions or joining for the first time, this workshop is perfect for artists looking to push their work further and grow creatively in a supportive, hands-on environment.
Bring any watercolor supplies you have on hand—Carolyn will discuss materials during the workshop. Note: Supplies are not included in the cost of the workshop. Don’t miss this chance to paint in the open air and walk away with a stronger, more personal artistic voice.
Please note that our classes are typically held in the lower level of Arlene's. Because access to the lower level is available only by stair, please let us know if using the stairs presents any difficulty for you in advance of the class so we can make alternate arrangements. We want to make sure everyone is able to enjoy and participate in our classes.
