First Friday at The Eleven with Sofia Corts

SOFIA CORTS is a 19-year-old singer-songwriter from Albany, New York. Sofia is currently attending the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston on a full-tuition scholarship and has so far officially released 2 original songs.

Totally self-taught on guitar and keyboards, Sofia’s songwriting effortlessly blends genres — R&B, pop, hip-hop — while generating infectious, memorable melodic hooks. Her vocal range from multi-octave acrobatics over badass beats to the simple, tender expressions of her ballads. Sofia’a lyric-writing prowess easily matched her natural musical abilities. Her lyrics are emotionally powerful and are sprinkled with clever wordplay.

Sofia’s immersion in music began with musical theater, as she has been acting, singing and dancing in local productions since she was a small child. No doubt her career will involve acting as well as music.

As of all this talent weren’t enough, Sofia is also an accomplished visual artist who personally designs the graphics accompanying her releases, which are available on all digital platforms.
