Skywired: The Story of Radio-Controlled Flight
Discover the captivating world of radio-controlled aviation at the New Mexico Museum of Space History! “Skywired: The Story of Radio-Controlled Flight” brings together rare artifacts, local innovators, and the incredible legacy of pioneers like George V. Holloman.

Marvel at extraordinary RC aircraft—including the legendary 1937 Big Guff, the first radio-controlled model flown in the Southwest and one of only three known in existence! Learn how ingenuity, collaboration, and a passion for flight helped shape the skies we know today.

This exhibit is a celebration of partnerships with the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA), and RC clubs from Alamogordo, El Paso, and Las Cruces. Special presentation at 2pm.

Bring your family, explore aviation history, and get inspired by the innovators who took flight. See you at the museum!
