Our speaker for May is the owner and founder of Alameda Tiny Homes, Hank Hernandez.

Hank Hernandez is the founder and owner of Alameda Tiny Homes. Since 2019, he and his stepfather—the company’s structural engineer and chief designer—have designed and built over three dozen ADUs across the East Bay. With in-depth knowledge of California’s ADU regulations and local permitting processes, Hank helps homeowners navigate approvals and energy standards from start to finish.

A longtime resident of Alameda, Hank also serves as Chair of the city’s Historical Advisory Board and holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration.
