Nest Box Check and Nature Walk

We will walk the Bobolink Trail looking for migrants including migrating hawks (if the winds are in the right direction) and newly arriving Dark-eyed Juncos and American Tree Sparrows. We will also take this opportunity to inspect the bird nesting boxes installed along the trail, identifying any boxes that need repair and determining which bird species used them this summer.

We will meet at the southern most parking lot on Hall's Road, there is limited parking here so consider carpooling.

Difficulty: Light walking.
If you plan to walk into the fields to check the boxes with Kristen, be prepared for more walking challenges like mud, dense vegetation and the possibility of ticks. Bring appropriate clothing and footwear based on the weather forecast.
