After finishing art school from Baroda in 2007, Hitesh Malviya joined Ogilvy, Delhi, and later moved to Wieden+Kennedy, Delhi in 2008. After working in advertising for five years he quit both W+K and advertising. These days he is thinking type and providing typographical solutions to some of the biggest brands at the Indian Type Foundry.
The workshop will introduce the understanding that precedes the several references that Indian Typography has used and evolved through over time. The workshop is curated by the Indian Type Foundry, an Ahmedabad based digital type foundry that provides typographical solutions to major brands like Google, Apple and Amazon. Such a workshop has never been conducted before by ITF making this a unique, never before experience.
As a final output there would be an A3 poster from each participant. These posters will be printed and showcase on the conclusive day of the workshop.
