In this intensive three-week course you'll learn about wine styles and their differences, how to taste wine, recognise their faults, plus food and wine matching principles.
Week 1: Sparkling & white wines (3 hours)
Week 2: Red & rosé wines (3 hours)
Week 3: Fortified wines & quiz (3 hours)
This is a great course for those interested in wine or in the wine / hospitality industry - Cellar door staff, cellarhands and vineyard workers new to the wine industry to help them gain a greater understanding of Australian wines and wine styles in an interactive and fun environment at the National Wine Centre.
Over the course of the 3 sessions, you’ll explore a range of Australian wine styles, varieties, blends, and regions as our educators guide you through how to swirl, sniff and taste like a professional.
By course end, you’ll understand more about aroma and taste and you’ll know how to express it. You will gain confidence talking about wine and have fun with like-minded people in a relaxed and informal setting at the National Wine Centre.
