Following its standout season at 𝐖𝐎𝐌𝐀𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, this studio-based experience offers a rare opportunity to engage with the artists and technology behind the work.

Restless Dance Theatre invites you and your students into the heart of our creative process of Seeing Through Darkness — a dynamic performance and workshop experience designed specifically for school groups.

Students will witness a live performance by Australia’s leading disability-led dance company and then step behind the curtain to explore how professional dance theatre is made. Led by 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐑𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐚 𝐌𝐜𝐆𝐨𝐰𝐚𝐧 — two of the country’s most celebrated contemporary dance artists — this program connects young people directly with working professionals and inclusive creative practice.
