SCALA Live is on again in November! Join us for another evening of excellent original music, with two showcase acts and a spotlight.
This month we've got Michael Coghlan, Dr D and Co and Andra May joining us!
Act 1: Michael Coghlan
Born in Adelaide (1954) Michael has been writing songs since he was 20. He has played regularly in coffee bars, hotels, restaurants and folk clubs in Adelaide and overseas since 1977; mostly as a soloist. Michael spent a year busking and playing music for a living in Europe and Israel and played regularly at Ginger's Coffee Shop in North Adelaide for years, and as a member of SCALA.
Spotlight: Andra May
Act 2: Dr. D and Co.
Doctor D is a blues-rock guitarist, songwriter, scientist and writer based in Adelaide, occasionally performing with London band Sweet Thursday. His music show Sweet Home Adelaide presented in collaboration with Fergus Maximus premiered at the Adelaide Fringe Festival 2021.
Doors open 7.00pm Show starts at 7.30pm
FREE entry for SCALA members, $10 for everyone else. Tickets at the door.

If you're new to SCALA, our showcase spots are generally around 45 minutes long, and the spotlight act is usually 3 songs. It's a great opportunity to test out a new original set on an attentive audience of original music lovers.
