Our first Satsangha Meditation & Connection gathering will be held from 4 PM until 6 PM on Saturday, August 9th.
This gathering will run as a two-hour session, designed to help us establish and deepen our meditation practice, while coming together regularly as community to support each other on our spiritual journeys.
Here’s an overview of the evening:
* Welcome & Oms
* 25 minutes Silent Meditation
* Short Spiritual Sharing: We'll share some insights from a spiritual text, master, or saint.
* 25 minutes Silent Meditation / Reflection on sharing
* Devotional Chant
* 25 minutes Silent Meditation
* Closing Chant
* Hang out as community / go out to dinner together (optional)
Please know that this is largely a silent meditation space. We'll provide some gentle guidance at the start, perhaps exploring self-inquiry, open awareness, or observing the breath. Beyond that, the intention is for you to truly deepen your own existing practice.
To help us create a truly focused and harmonious space for everyone, we kindly ask that all who join us put their phone on airplane mode and arrive before we start and stay for the whole duration. This really helps strengthen and maintain the intentional space.
After our meditation journey, we'd absolutely love for you to hang out and connect further – maybe even grab dinner together afterwards!
There's no charge for these gatherings, but if you feel called to contribute to our community's offerings, optional donations are welcome.
