LUCID BREW, an exciting indie hard rock trio from Adelaide, epitomize a genre they dub as Full Spectrum Rock and Roll. Drawing inspiration from a diverse range of musical styles spanning the 60s-2000s, they infuse their music with a unique blend of influences. Through their original approach & hook-laden song writing they are determined to reach new musical ground. The members originated from a variety of independent local bands, eventually culminating in Lucid Brew; vocalist/lead guitarist/writer-producer James Blencowe (Jimmi), bassist, vocals and co-producer Reece Hicks, and drummer/percussionist & co-producer Tim Angove. Since the release of their self-titled EP, which features the stand-out singles "Hot Damn," "Vampire Hookers," and "Dominion," CHICKENSALT has been captivating audiences throughout South Australia and beyond. Founded in 2020 during the lockdowns, the band harnessed the uncertainty of the times to cultivate their signature hard-hitting bluesy rock sound. Chickensalt have taken to the stage in venues throughout Adelaide, Barossa Valley, Eyre Peninsula, Mildura, and Melbourne, and will be appearing at Streaky Sounds in 2025.
