WALK DETAILS
This walk will be approximately 90 minutes.
From our start point, we will get onto the Outer Harbor Greenway bike path and follow it out towards West Croydon for about 45 minutes before returning back to our start point.
This walk is a moderate walk along a mix of shared use paths and footpaths. The walk is relatively flat.
MEET TIME/LOCATION
Please arrive at 7.45am ready for an 8.00am start.
NOTE: if the temperature is forecast to be 32 degrees or more on the Bureau of Meteorology website at 4pm the day before the walk, the start time may be modified. Participants will be notified by text should this occur.
Our meet spot is the Bowden Skatepark carpark off Park Terrace in North Adelaide. The Park Terrace Community Garden is also located here.
There are toilets located here which should be open, but if not, there are toilets on enroute.

Don’t forget to print off your I.C.E. Medical Details Form which can be downloaded from our website.
If you are unable to print, your walk leader will have some spare forms on the morning of the walk for you to complete.
WEATHER AND GEAR

If the weather forecast is for extreme weather, this walk will be cancelled the day before and fully refunded.
We will only cancel last minute (by text message and email) if there is a severe weather warning/thunderstorm warning or weather events that are likely to impact on the safety of our leaders and walkers.
Due to the variability of the weather, the following items will be needed:
- a daypack/bumbag or similar to carry personal gear
- 1-2 litres of water
- sun protection (hat, sunnies, suncream)
- wet weather gear (check the forecast and plan accordingly!)
- blister kit/personal medication
- snacks/fruit to eat along the way
- comfortable walking shoes
- layerable clothing for before/during/after the walk (eg. jumper/jacket)
- walking poles (optional)
Please ensure you have the minimum gear required as no refunds are possible after booking. If you arrive under prepared without wet weather clothing or the gear listed above, our Leaders have the right to ask you not to walk with us for safety reasons.
Note: All our leaders carry group first aid kits, emergency communication devices and are qualified walk leaders.
OTHER INFORMATION
Our walks are all about fun, fitness and friendship - not a personal training session. If we cannot walk and talk at the same time we are walking too fast! And we never leave anyone behind.
Minimum age requirement for our walks is 18 years old.. Please check with us if unsure.
For the walk to go ahead, we need a minimum of 6 walkers registered by the registration closing time (5pm the day before the walk). If a walk is cancelled due to the minimum number not being met, participants who have registered will be notified by text the evening before the walk and a refund will be given.
During our walks, photos may be taken for use publicly on our website, social media channels and e-newsletter. If you do not wish for your photo to be taken/used, please notify us via email -
