"Lady Gaga: Queen of Pop" A Showcase Finale Production

Whether you’re a seasoned performer or new to the world of dance this showcase production is for you!

“Lady Gaga: Queen of Pop” gives dancers of all levels an opportunity to take their dancing to the next level and experience the thrill of performance. The showcase production will be held on Saturday, October 25th, at the Halloween Party & Showcase.

All dances will be under the direction of Studio 22 instructors. Some dances will be choreographed, and some will be freestyle, please inquire with instructor on the details for that particular dance. Choreography will be taught in Studio 22 regular weekly classes starting end of September and October. A minimum of 75% of class attendance is required to perform*.

• Cha Cha Ensemble – “Bad Romance” - Dusty - Sat, 1:30-3:00 PM
• Prog Double 2-Step Ensemble - “LoveGame” - Jim Weber - Sun, 12:00-1:30 PM
• Argentine Tango Ensemble - TBD - George/Jairelbhi - TBD

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:
• Class Attendance: a minimum of 75% class attendance required to perform*
• Costumes: to be determined by instructors during class. Minimal cost if any
• Showcase Rehearsals: two rehearsals will be held for all performers. Each rehearsal will be one (1) class credit to attend. This provides an opportunity for run throughs of your routine, costume check, lighting and floor spacing with event layout. Attendance is strongly recommended. Each rehearsal is approximately 90 minutes long and will be held in the main ballroom. Practice space will also be available during that time in the back ballroom with space permitting.
• Performance Cost: Admission ticket into the Showcase on October 25th, and a $35 performance fee if 75% of the required class attendance is NOT met (this fee is waived if classes were attended)

DRESS REHEARSALS & SHOWCASE DATES:
• Saturday, October 18th, 4:30-6:00 PM-DRESS REHEARSAL
• Friday, October 24th, 7:00-8:30 PM-PRE-SHOW RUN THROUGH
• Saturday, October 25th, 7:00 PM-SHOWCASE!!!

*If minimum attendance is not fulfilled then student must get approval from instructor to perform. Student may incur a $35 performance fee if minimum class attendance requirement is not met. Performance fee is waived for all performers who attend 75% or more of the classes. Performance fee does not include admission.
