🕤 Meet-Up Time: 9:30 AM (don’t be late, or you’ll be haunted forever… or just left behind)
🌊 Float Route: 7.8 miles down the Red River
⏱️ Estimated Float Time: 4–6 hours
💀 This one’s called “The Bell Witch Float” – named after the infamous Bell Witch legend in the area. Expect scenic views, peaceful paddling, and maybe a mysterious breeze at your back 👻
🚗 TWO WAYS TO FLOAT:
1. Bringing Your Own Kayak?
Shuttle Fee: $25 per kayak
We park at the end point, then they’ll shuttle us to the launch site so we float back to our cars.
2. Need a Rental? No problem!
Kayak + Shuttle: $50

They do not take online reservations, so lock it in early to make sure you have a spot!
🥪 Things to Bring With You:
🍱 Lunch/snacks for the float
💧 Plenty of water
☀️ Sunscreen
🧢 Hat and 🕶️ sunglasses
📱 Waterproof bag/dry pouch for phone and keys
👕 Change of clothes/towel for after
🧭 Optional: a curious spirit and some river-worthy sandals
👻💦 RSVP if you're in, and feel free to bring guests — just drop a comment with how many folks you're rolling in with so we have a rough headcount.
If plans change and you can’t make it, no worries — just be sure to update your RSVP to “Can’t Go” so we’re not wondering if you got snatched by the Bell Witch mid-commute.
