Join us for a transformative afternoon full of love, pride, and healing. We will have several art activities available including: rock painting, a communal art mural, and natural mandalas. Come for a little bit to meet us, or stay the whole time! This event is free to attend! We will be giving away some Progress Peak Merch!
This event will be held in a covered space outside. Please dress for the weather but keep in mind we will need to remain family friendly. This event is for all ages to come and learn about Progress Peak and create some amazing art!
About Progress Peak: Progress Peak Adventures is a transgender-led nonprofit based out of the Greater Philadelphia Area that was established as an act of resistance- to stand proudly as a beacon of light as we try to navigate the recent darkness of discrimination and violence aimed at marginalized communities. We are proudly building a future where trans and queer people can thrive through connection, adventure, and healing. We recently received our tax-exempt status and are laying the groundwork to offer trauma-informed, affirming outdoor and skill-building experiences for LGBTQ+ youth, families, and adults.
From mountain biking and rafting to drive-in movies, self-defense workshops, and affirming self-care like makeup and hairstyling, every experience we offer is designed to restore a sense of belonging and possibility. By collaborating with pre-vetted, affirming partners, we ensure that every space we enter is accessible, safe, and supported by trained professionals. In a world that too often tries to erase us, Progress Peak is a celebration of survival, resilience, and the power of adventuring with pride.
