Join us for an evening of film and more as we explore culture, resistance and the long history of solidarity between the Palestinian and Cuban people.
The Cuban and Palestinian people share a common struggle against colonialism and imperialism, for self-determination and dignity.
Palestine has suffered more than 75 years of brutal occupation and genocide.
Cuba has faced a 63 year long cruel blockade by the United States designed to strangle its economy and "bring about hunger, desperation and overthrow of government".
But for more than six decades, Cuba has stood with Palestine both in words and actions.
And today, despite suffering under the longest sanctions regime in history,Cuba continues to render all-round support for the Palestinian people, including provision of free medical training of over 1,500 Palestinian students in Cuba.
As The Red Line for Palestine comes to Aberystwyth, and we mark the anniversary of Fidel Castro's assault on the Moncada Barracks,on 26th July in 1953, join us for a evening of film and culture, and learn more about the long history of the Cuban and Palestinian peoples struggle on the frontline against imperialism.

Mae pobl Ciwba a Phalesteina yn rhannu brwydr gyffredin yn erbyn gwladychiaeth ac imperialaeth, dros hunanbenderfyniad ac urddas.
Mae Palesteina wedi dioddef mwy na 75 mlynedd o feddiannaeth greulon a hil-laddiad.
Mae Ciwba wedi wynebu blocâd creulon 63 mlynedd o hyd gan yr Unol Daleithiau a gynlluniwyd i dagu ei heconomi a "chreu newyn, anobaith a dymchwel llywodraeth".
Ond ers mwy na chwe degawd, mae Ciwba wedi sefyll gyda Phalesteina mewn geiriau a gweithredoedd.
A heddiw, er gwaethaf dioddef o dan y gyfundrefn sancsiynau hiraf mewn hanes, mae Ciwba yn parhau i roi cefnogaeth gyffredinol i bobl Palesteina, gan gynnwys darparu hyfforddiant meddygol am ddim i dros 1,500 o fyfyrwyr Palesteinaidd yng Nghiwba.
Wrth i'r Llinell Goch dros Balesteina ddod i Aberystwyth, a ninnau'n nodi pen-blwydd ymosodiad Fidel Castro ar Farics Moncada, ar 26 Gorffennaf ym 1953, ymunwch â ni am noson o ffilm a diwylliant, a dysgu mwy am hanes hir brwydr pobl Ciwba a Phalesteina ar y rheng flaen yn erbyn imperialaeth.
